One day Monty Buckles of the Lamps sent us an email that read something like, "There is this great band down here in Los Angeles called Wounded Lion that really should have a record out. Will you put out a split single with us and them on it?" We said, "Sure, send us a demo." We flipped so hard over the Wounded Lion that we decided we needed to do a single devoted just to them and thus the Carol Cloud/Pony People 45 was born. It followed by singles and an album on In the Red and other labels. They are a great live band and we are very happy to have them play SS10.
Wounded Lion will be playing night two of SS10, Saturday, May 21 at the Bottom of the Hill.
