LAMPS

The A Frames' Min Yee writes that the Lamps "throw sparks like two gigantic rocks grinding against each other." He follows with "This is mongoloid frenzy music." We couldn't agree more. Taking a little bit from the most thuggish primitives as well as pop addicted garagemen, Lamps have created a mutant sound that landed them a couple albums on In the Red, some 7"s here and in Euroland and a single on S.S. Lamp bulb Monty Buckles is also a member of the extended S.S. family for his video work with A Frames and writing for Z Gun magazine.

Lamps will be playing night two of SS10, on Saturday, May 21 at the Bottom of the Hill.
